The Arsenal Business & Technology Partnership was created in 1999 by government, business and educational leaders to assure the long-term sustainability of the Watervliet Arsenal in the regional economy. The Partnership has successfully developed close to 300,000 square feet of previously underutilized space on the 143-acre site.
A not-for-profit entity, the Partnership has been named by the U.S. Army as the site’s exclusive economic developer. The Partnership’s objectives include:

Creating an integrated manufacturing and R&D park
Creating and retaining jobs
Preserving and enhancing the mission of Benet Labs and the Watervliet Arsenal
Lowering site costs to the U.S. Army
