Since its inception, the Arsenal Business & Technology Partnership has had strong support from federal, state and local government. Our elected officials have seen firsthand how the Partnership’s work has fostered high quality economic development and created jobs. There is a proven track record of success, which shows how the use of public money in conjunction with private sector investment, has returned millions in economic benefits for the region and state.
In addition to the support from individual Congressional and State Legislators and local elected officials, the Partnership has strong ties to various state and regional economic development agencies and initiatives.

New York Loves Small Business
Small businesses make up half of all the private sector jobs in the United States. The Arsenal Partnership has successfully worked with start-up businesses and small businesses seeking to expand, helping them to access state and local resources.
Albany County, under the leadership of County Executive Dan McCoy, is a strong Partnership supporter. Albany County has been a consistent and reliable partner, and is fully committed to ensuring the continued success of our efforts at the Arsenal.
City of Watervliet
The City of Watervliet is known as “The Arsenal City.” The fortunes of the Arsenal have had a direct impact on this host community since its founding. Aside from the shared geography and shared history, the City is a full-time partner. Mayor Mike Manning and his economic development team not only support our efforts, but have worked directly with various tenant companies to help them secure government grants and low interest financing to expand and to purchase new equipment.
