Peter Gannon

Peter Gannon was appointed president by the Board of Directors in June 2010.  He is responsible for all strategic planning, marketing, fundraising and tenant management.  He originally joined the Arsenal Partnership as vice president in 2009. Prior to joining the Partnership, he served as Director of Operations in the Town of Colonie and Director of Communications to Assembly Majority Leader Ron Canestrari. Peter earned his undergraduate degree in public communications from the College of Saint Rose and was a member of the inaugural class of the Leadership Tech Valley. He is active in various community organizations including the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, the Sports Foundation of the Capital Region, the Board of Associates at the College of Saint Rose and North Colonie Pop Warner.

Bob Mahoney

Bob Mahoney joined the Partnership in 2006 as the Senior Project Manager involved in the company’s business development strategies, site planning, project execution and implementation of activities associated with location and management of commercial tenants at the Arsenal Technology Park at Watervliet Arsenal. Mr. Mahoney has 33 years of federal service with Watervliet Arsenal, where he held management and journeyman positions in business development, marketing, program management, quality assurance, and manufacturing.

Katherine Caruso

Ms. Caruso has been with the Partnership since 2003 in an administrative role supporting the President’s general management of the corporation. Her responsibilities include contract administration, grant administration, supporting project management, marketing, site planning, tenant relations and overseeing the daily activities of the Partnership. She assists the President and the Board Chair with coordination and planning of Board and sub-committee meetings, including Corporate Governance, Audit Committee, Personnel and Compensation Committee. After earning a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Interamerican University, Ms. Caruso served as a production office coordinator in feature film production for major studios. Ms. Caruso currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Averill Park Education Foundation.

Doreen Dean

Doreen Dean joined the Arsenal Partnership in July 2007 to fill an Administrative Assistant vacancy. Along with an A.A.S in Accounting, her background included several years of federal service at the Watervliet Arsenal, as well as similar private sector duties. Immediately prior to joining the Arsenal Partnership, she was the Administrator for an engineering consulting firm, and has also provided assistance to various non-profit organizations. Doreen currently functions as the hub of the organization and handles the administrative needs of the Partnership team as well as acting as the liaison between the AP Office and our tenant company contacts.
