The Arsenal Partnership benefits from our physical proximity to the over 20 institutions of higher learning in New York’s Capital Region. But our relationships go beyond geographic closeness. In fact, the Partnership has official partnership agreements with many of the area colleges and universities including the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Siena College, Union College, The College of Saint Rose and Hudson Valley Community College are among the other numerous colleges and universities that make up the academic network in the Capital Region. Academia goes hand in hand with the Capital Region, and the Partnership works to foster those relationships for the benefit of our tenants, the Watervliet Arsenal and all of Tech Valley.
In addition to the network of higher education institutions, the region is home to a first of its kind facility, Tech Valley High School. The school for 9-12 grades has a strong emphasis on math, science and technology, however the reality is that students receive a well-rounded education that will prepare them to compete in the growing high tech and global economy that is emerging in the Capital Region’s Tech Valley.
